This beautiful leather handbag is handmade and modeled on archaeological finds from Hedeby (also called Haithabu), the main Viking settlement on the Jutland peninsula which is close to the German town of Schleswig.
The genuine leather handbag is made fromblack vegetable tan leather with handles made from pine or palisander wood stained in a dark brown and a natural colour hemp cord. The cord is approx 140cm long and can be easily adjusted to be shorter.
